How We Identify

Chronic antibiotic use and everyday stress can leave our GI tracts vulnerable to opportunistic disease causing bacteria. In a healthy GI tract, the beneficial flora will keep the harmful bacteria from thriving. However when the beneficial flora are not adequate, a situation called Dysbiosis can occur (meaning there is a poor balance between the good and bad flora in the GI tract).

Sometimes the presence of these bad bacteria are not obvious from symptoms alone, and testing is needed to identify and eliminate their presence in the gut.
