Registered Dietitian of over two decades with a passion for functional nutrition

With a background in nutrition and public health, Amanda strives to help patients understand and implement healthy nutrition practices while strategically utilizing nutrients and supplements to optimize health and a balanced intake. Extending from her experience and education with a BS in Nutrition and Food Science from Auburn University, an MPH in Nutrition from University of Massachusetts Amherst, and continued post-grad education in integrative/functional nutrition, Amanda’s specialty areas include: food hypersensitivities, gut balancing (microbiome), digestive issues, and functional lab interpretation.

Outside of the office, Amanda practices what she teaches so she can provide real-world application of nutrition and wellness guidance. On weekends, she can be found with her husband and son, taking care of their herd of Texas Longhorn cattle.
